About

Pharmacist & Integrative Healthcare Practitioner

A little about me

Welcome to my corner! I'm a Midwest native, a proud Purdue University alum, and a pharmacist by trade. My professional journey led me to specialize in managed care pharmacy, where I dedicated years to working with Medicare patients and focusing on geriatrics across various health carriers.

Becoming a board-certified geriatric pharmacist marked a pivotal point, but life had more chapters for me. I embraced the incredible role of motherhood, raising two wonderful children. As life unfolded, I transitioned from conventional pharmacy to the vital task of caring for family and community at home.

The seismic shifts brought on by the post-COVID era unveiled a new mission. Recognizing the gaps in care, I drew upon my Indian roots and traditional upbringing, deeply rooted in Ayurveda, nutrition, and daily lifestyle choices. This fusion of East and West practices became my approach to help close ones during the pandemic, leading me to bridge the two worlds of medicine in the pursuit of holistic healing.

Join me on this journey of blending and balancing lifestyle choices and medication management, a path I've walked from the heart of conventional medicine to the traditional wisdom of East Asia. Together, let's explore the power of integration for vibrant health and well-being.

About Logo

The lotus flower holds profound symbolism, embodying strength, healing, and transformation. Its ability to emerge vibrant and pure from the murky waters it grows in signifies resilience and the potential for beauty to flourish in challenging environments. The unfolding petals of the lotus symbolize personal growth, while its roots anchored in the mud represent the connection to one's origins and the capacity to rise above adversity. The lotus serves as a powerful reminder that even in the darkest of circumstances, one can find strength, healing, and transformation.

Similar to the lotus plant's transformative journey, patients can harness the metaphor in their pursuit of healing through integrative health. Integrative health, like the lotus, involves addressing various aspects of well-being—physical, mental, and spiritual. The roots of integrative health, analogous to the lotus in the mud, delve into the origins of an individual's health challenges, acknowledging the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. By embracing complementary therapies alongside conventional medicine, patients can foster personal growth and resilience, akin to the lotus flower unfolding its petals. Integrative health encourages a holistic approach, allowing individuals to rise above their health challenges and, like the lotus, experience a blossoming transformation towards overall well-being.
